Quote of the Week:

HRC: “I never sent or received any classified material. They are retroactively classifying it. … I have absolutely no concerns about it whatsoever.”

Chuck Todd: “There is an open FBI investigation into this matter about how you may have handled classified material,” he said. “Are you 100 percent confident that nothing is going to come of this investigation?”

HRC: “I am 100 percent confident,” Clinton replied. “This is as security review that was requested, it is being carried out and it will be resolved.”

And these….

“My concern is that your answer that nothing new was found in the Benghazi hearings continues to give me some doubts,” the woman said. “Everybody knows you can’t write 30,000 emails to your yoga instructor.”

We need to quit worrying about 'being historic'. What kind of outcome do voters think they will get if they elect people who's primary purpose is to be remembered in history? Everyone remembers Ghengis Khan!

"It's immoral for governments to conscript slaves" -- If they're already slaves, the Morality part was already violated. Since slaves were deemed "property", the Owner could do whatever he damn well pleased. The question is: Is a citizen the govt's slave/property? If not, what is the Constitutional basis for the draft?

So now I switch my support for President to the libertarian party.
It is hard to believe my country has devolved so far into a socialistic society.
We are so formed and controlled by government schooling and media that we no longer can make decisions without being told what to do.
Socialism is a cancer that requires a surgical procedure to remove.
We are sold what to do by advertising techniques and buy our so called representatives already chosen for us like we are sold bottled water or laundry detergent.

Libertarians have two inherent problems that I just happen to find admirable, but self defeating. First, Libertarians by the nature of their mentality don't want to be told what, how, or when to do anything. Their "freedom mentality" prevents them, as a group, from seeing their goals through to an end. Second, they aren't willing to compromise when it comes to freedom. I love that about them. However, these people by majority are free thinkers,.. deep thinkers,... critical thinking thinkers,... socially and fiscally responsible,... and far better Christ followers than the so called Christians of our society as they are not as hypocritical. With ninety-eight percent of the population too stupid to walk and chew gum at the same time, Libertarians sound like martians speaking a foreign language.

In fact, today's campuses mimic ideological boot camps. Tenured professors seek to indoctrinate young people in certain preconceived progressive political agendas. Environmental studies classes are not very open to debating the "settled science" of man-caused, carbon-induced global warming -- or the need for immediate and massive government intervention to address it. Grade-conscious and indebted students make the necessary ideological adjustments.

Trying to politely "get along" with someone who is condoning violent aggression--including against YOU--is fairly stupid, not to mention counter-productive. "Hey, let's agree to disagree. Your opinion that I should be forcibly robbed, and caged if I resist, is equally valid to my opinion that neither of us should be robbed." Ummmm, no. It isn't. Statists SHOULD be made to feel as much guilt and shame as possible, because they are advocating something destructive and immoral. If someone was advocating mass murder, would you be all polite and civil to them, and talk as if their position is acceptable? I hope not.
Larkin Rose

“Rights aren’t rights if someone can take them away. They’re privileges. That’s all we’ve ever had in this country, is a bill of temporary privileges. And if you read the news even badly, you know that every year the list gets shorter and shorter. Sooner or later, the people in this country are gonna realize the government does not give a fuck about them! The government doesn’t care about you, or your children, or your rights, or your welfare or your safety. It simply does not give a fuck about you! It’s interested in its own power. That’s the only thing. Keeping it and expanding it wherever possible.”
George Carlin
